Fire Rated:
Door Engineering’s Bottom Rolling fire rated door systems are UL Listed and Factory Mutual Approved for up to 4 hours and can be designed to meet a 450 degree temperature rise in 30 minute rating.
Bottom rolling, commercial fire doors can be manufactured for sizes up to 40’W x 40’H. Closing systems are offered in Fusible link and UL Listed controlled speed cable reel.
The fire rated option also includes:
- Fire rated pass doors
- FM approved monorail cutouts
- Counterweight closing system
- Operators with UL Listed release devices
- Magnetic and Electro-mechanical releases to integrate with fire alarm or heat and smoke detectors

Large doors and/or high load applications call for a heavy duty tube frame panel with standard 14ga sheeting. Tube frame doors can be filled with a variety of insulation materials for superior energy efficiency.
